Wine name: ATTIMI (VERDUZZO FRIULANO)
Production area: D.O.P. FRIULI COLLI ORIENTALI
in the hills of the municipality of Attimis
at 200 m. above sea level.
Type of wine: Sweet white.
Soil: Flysch of the Eocene epoch with a prevalence of sandstone.
Growing system: Guyot.
Harvest: Late October (second third of the month).
Grapes are hand harvested, selected and separated into crates.
Vinification: Slight maceration followed by soft pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats.
Enhancement: One part undergoes a 14 month fermentation in wooden barrels, the other refines in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature.
Once bottled the wine is left to mature for 4 months before sale.
Alcohol content: 13 % vol.
Total acidity: 6,00 gr/l
Organoleptic Characteristics: The colour is an intense golden yellow.
The scent is of ripe fruit, nuts, acacia flowers and honey. It is a sweet, well balanced, soft yet full bodied wine with harmonic overtones that are both fruity
and delicately tannic.
Conservation: Keep in a cool, dark place.
Serving temperature: 8-10° C
Bottle: 500 ml
Food combinations: Typical dessert wine to be combined with pastries and dry fruit but also great with seasoned and blue-veined cheeses.
